Sydney Leadership is designed to unleash your leadership potential.

From CEOs and senior managers to up-and-coming talent with the desire to make a difference, this is a program for people who care about their world and who are motivated to change it for the better—to help their organisation progress and make a positive impact in the broader community.

The program is open to just 30 select applicants each year. The primary requirements for selection are vision, intellectual rigor, strong personal values, a sphere of influence and a commitment to give something back.

We're looking for a diverse group of people from across all sectors. This includes people working in the private sector, not-for-profit organisations and charities, religious organisations, government and small business. You may already be leading change in your organisation and you should be committed to your own learning and development.

Sydney Leadership particularly benefits people who are about to embark on or are in the midst of transformational change and/or working at an interface between their organisation, other organisations, the community and an issue in the broader world.

Does this sound like you?

You may be:

  • facing a problem that calls for change in the way things are done
  • required to lead change in your organisation or can spot an opportunity to do things differently
  • keen to discover new, ‘next practice’ (as opposed to known, ‘best practice’) solutions to a problem where the way to make progress is unclear
  • feeling stuck or frustrated and keen to find new ways for looking at an old issue
  • at a stage in your life where you feel you need to make a different kind of contribution.

You could be trying to make progress on how your organistion:

  • connects to, or understands, it social impact
  • manages innovation and/or organisational transformation
  • addresses or makes progress on complex social issues
  • tackles problems which go beyond the organisational environment and engages a variety of competing demands such as sustainability, profitability and social and/or environmental responsibility.
