I am Managing Partner of Carters Hill Group, a leadership development firm focused on helping leaders perform to their highest capacity.
In addition, I am co-founder of The Helmsman Project, a NFP initiative designed to support adolescents who have potential but are at risk on not fulfilling that potential. The Helmsman Project is a program program that utilises an adventure education experience as a medium for the delivery of an evidence-based coaching program and is targeted at building hope, self-regulation and resilience - all key life-effectiveness skills - in the target group of adolescents.
Within the context of The Helmsman Project, I am enrolled at the University of Western Sydney as a doctoral student, undertaking my research under the supervision of Distinguished Professor Herb Marsh.
Grace Mutual is a NFP raising institutional capital for great social outcomes.
The first project, currently scheduled for end 2012, is a wholesale fund for affordable housing. We're also working on an aged care fund, and mechanisms for funding social housing.

I deal with statuatory planning. This is a job , not a vocation. My real work ( unpaid to date) is developing, managing, advocating for a making real the Port Kembla Furukawa Project- a community, cultural, learning and creative industry and social entrepreneur hub to be located at Port Kembla, a project that I have been managing for the last three years outside of my paid position. Up until recently I have been sacrificing one working day a week , for two and a half years, to get the project off the ground, consulting, developing and maintaining relationships, sorrting through the planning issues, and now working on seeking a development partner , while preparing the documentation to lodge a development application for the project. This project has been supported by Port Kembla Copper , whose parent company is Furukawa Pty Ltd, based in Japan. The site is owned by Port Kmebla Copper.
